Vidya Dehejia holds the Barbara
Stoler Miller Chair in Indian Art at Columbia University in New York city.
She was previously Acting Director of the Freer Gallery of Art and the
Arthur M.Sackler Gallery in Washington, D.C. Her recent publications include
