A classical
musician, Thierry Gregoire was the winner of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation
and the Vellutti International competitions. His youthful and promising
voice with a rare and exquisite range was soon noticed and he was invited
to the biggest music festivals.
He has also
performed on the international scene in cities such as Vienna, Amsterdam,
Paris. The best of the repertoire of Baroque operas and concerts
were offered quite naturally to the French counter-tenor. He participates
actively in the Italian Barga Festival for Vivaldi's new productions.
Thierry Gregoire
is also interested in contemporary works. In 2003, he performed
in a recital with the mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kozena at Utrecht and Dijon,
which fetched him the Prague Golden Prize for the best European televised
concert.
Thierry Gregoire sang cantata from Handel, and was accompanied by Emilie Audouin and Ronaldo Correia de Lima Lopes who played De Visee and Main Marais.
