Dr. Sam Sudhananda's speech draws inspiration from ancient Tamil texts of Tolkappiam and poems from the Sangam period. Dr. Sudhananda has an MA in Tamil and a Ph.D in Anthropology (University of Washington, Seattle), has taught Tamil language and literature in India and the US. The talk includes poetry reading in Tamil and explanations in English.
