Prakriti Foundation in collaboration with the Govt Museum, Chennai presented "Piety, Poesy and Power? - a historical enquiry into the process of Indianisation in South East Asia: Indonesia", Talk by Dr. Rajeshwari Ghose

Dr. Rajeshwari Ghose, Associate Professor (retired) of History of Religion and Sacred Arts at the University of Hong Kong, has published several books including 'Thyagaraja Cult in Tamilnadu, a study in conflict and accommodation' and 'In the footsteps of the Buddha.'

She organized an international exhibition on Buddhist arts in Hong Kong and wrote, edited and published a catalogue on the occasion. She has also contributed the South East Asia Section for the catalogue 'The magic of the Gods' published by the Museum of Indian Art. Her M Phil thesis was on Shaivism in SE Asia. Presently retired, she shuttles between Toronto and Chennai.
