Dr. Rajeshwari Ghose, Associate Professor (retired) of History of Religion and Sacred Arts at the University of Hong Kong, has published several books including 'Thyagaraja Cult in Tamilnadu, a study in conflict and accommodation' and 'In the footsteps of the Buddha.'
She organized an international exhibition on Buddhist arts in Hong Kong and wrote, edited and published a catalogue on the occasion. She has also contributed the South East Asia Section for the catalogue 'The magic of the Gods' published by the Museum of Indian Art. Her M Phil thesis was on Shaivism in SE Asia. Presently retired, she shuttles between Toronto and Chennai. |
